This was at a "swanky" art auction, as a prelude they had some really cool local music. This was a bunch of kids playing wicked, high energy music on giant plastic pipe xylophones that totally grabbed everyone's attention. Great Job Guys!

Very inline with what my experience has been, just more succinctly put.

OK, so... I've met famous people before. I've DJ'd with big names, I've met actors and directors, spoken with politicians.. but I have to say that meeting and hearing Bill Buxton speak yesterday at NextMedia Festival here made me feel like a kid.

This is arguably one of the godfathers of digital imaging. From Maya and SGI, now moving on to multitouch displays and surface computing ... OMFG... can you be more of a luminary.

So .. Ya... pretty cool conference I must say.
